Brenda Daniels, 76, of Verdon, NE, passed away May 3, 2020 at Verdon. She was born July 26, 1943 at Batesville, AR to Kenneth and Norma Lea (Pearson) Hayes. 

She married Jimmy Dale Daniels on September 18, 1959 at Flora, AR.

Brenda was raised at Wichita and attended Wichita public schools. When married, the couple lived in various places until moving to Richardson County in 1970. She sold Avon, worked at the grocery store, prepared taxes and was the Verdon village clerk, loyally performing her duties for 33 years.  She was an active and faithful member of Prairie Union Baptist Church having served as Deacon and Sunday school teacher.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Jimmy of Verdon, children, Dawn Bennett and her husband Chuck of Verdon, Stormy Hitchcock of Verdon, Jimmy Daniels of Milwaukee, WI, Shannon Weinmann and her husband Tony of Verdon, brothers, Mike Hays and his wife Lisa of Wichita, Gary Hays and his wife Paula of Shubert, NE, sisters, Sharon Russell and her husband Robert of Jenks, OK, Phyllis Grove and her husband Terry of Plano, TX, Karen Dukes of Wichita, ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A private family graveside service will be held on Wednesday at Verdon Cemetery with Pastor Daniel Farley officiating.
