Charles “Chuck” I. Thomas 85 of Liberty, Nebraska passed away on Tuesday, May 12, 2020.  He was born on May 6, 1935 in rural Pawnee County to Clarence and Gladys (Morton) Thomas.  He was the oldest of 3 children.

He is survived by his wife, Karen, children, Gregg (Linda) Thomas, Julie (Todd) Bowhay, Scott (Sherry) Thomas, Kimberly (Roger) Cram, Christine Thomas, stepdaughter, Brook (Mike) Hupp, stepson, Matthew Bonser, 9 grandchildren, 6 step grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, brother, Richard (Pepper) Thomas, sister, Betty (Leroy) Weber, several nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Services 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 18, 2020 at the Home Farm, 43346 S. 176 Rd, Liberty, Nebraska. Individuals attending service who are non family members please stay in your vehicle and the service will be broadcasted over the radio.  Officiating Pastor Jim Heckel and Pastor John Snyder.  Visitation on Sunday, May 17, 2020 from Noon-8:00 p.m. with family greeting friends from 2-4 p.m. at Wherry Mortuary, 919 G Street, Pawnee City, Nebraska.  Interment Liberty Cemetery, Liberty, Nebraska.  Memorials in lieu of flowers to family choice.
Military honors provided by Liberty American Legion and the Nebraska Army National Guard Honor Guard.
