Frank Henry Morris, 83, of Holton, KS, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. He was born April 22, 1937 in Oregon, MO, the son of Clarance Marion and Lillian Ina (Breckinridge) Morris.

Frank attended school in Oregon, MO. He proudly served in the United States Navy as a Machinist Mate during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

He worked for Langlois Flour Company in CA and also as a truck driver for Von’s Grocery, also in CA. He owned and operated his own truck for many years, transporting general freight.

Frank was a member of Lakeview Faith Chapel in Holton and former member of Holton V.F.W. Post 1367.

He married Jeanette A. DeMann on January 4, 1959 in Rosemead, CA. She preceded him in death on April 19, 2016. He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Pearl Meier, Esther Culp and Lois Herpich; five brothers, Louis Morris, Floyd, James, George and Richard Drake

Survivors include his daughter, Vicki Moore (Tom) of Kansas City, KS and a grandson, Thomas Anthony Moore.

Graveside Service with Military Honors will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 5, 2020 at the Holton Cemetery. A register book will be available at Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
