Jerry Lee Hunzeker, 75, of Humboldt, Nebraska was born on October 9, 1944 in Lincoln, Nebraska.  His parents were Rudolph and Mae (Blecha) Hunzeker.  Jerry was raised on the family farm and attended school in Humboldt. 

He was united in marriage to Linda King and the couple made their home in Humboldt, Nebraska for many years.  Jerry passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020, at St. Elizabeth's Regional Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of seventy-five years, six months and twenty-eight days.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Larry (Julie) Wright.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife Linda of Humboldt, NE; daughter Teresa Schmoe and husband Darin of Ottawa, KS; brothers-in-law: Roger Wright and wife Sheri of Lincoln, NE; Robert King of Fremont, NE; sister-in-law Diana Sautter and husband Rod of Bruning, NE; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2020, at the Northridge Community Church in Humboldt, Nebraska with Pastors David Lockard and Ryan Weaver officiating.

A register book will be available to sign on Friday, June 12, 2020, at The Wherry Mortuary, 207 N. Nemaha Street in Humboldt, Nebraska.

Inurnment will be at The Bohemian National Cemetery south of Humboldt.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family's for designation at a later date.
