Louis McClintock

Louis Allen McClintock,  86 of Pawnee City, Nebraska passed away on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at the Pawnee County Hospital.  He was born to Louis Earl and Myrtle Bell (Kier) McClintock on May 6,1934 in Pawnee City, Nebraska. Louis was a twin and his brothers name was Lowell.  

Louis went to school at Pawnee City High School and graduated in May 1954.  After graduating Louis signed up to go to the U.S. Army in 1955.  He had basic  training at Camp Chaffe, Arkansas, from there he went to Korea and spent two years there.

When he got home he went to working in the Nurseries in Iowa in the winter,  then in the spring he worked on The Bridge Gang, around Wichita, Kansas. He met his future wife in Wichita, Marva Beagley, shortly after meeting they were married in1959 of this marriage their four children were born, Chuck, Karen, Allen and Debbie.

In May of 1970, Louis went to work for Burlington Railroad and became Forman on the section.  He then became a Track Rider from Lincoln to St. Joseph, Missouri.  After 29 years of working on the railroad Louis retired.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Myrtle and Earl McClintock, brothers, Elmer McClintock, twin brother Lowell McClintock, Kenny McClintock.

He is survived by his children, Chuck McClintock of Humboldt, NE, Karen Workman of DuBois, NE , Allen McClintock (finace Maribel Mendez) of Table Rock, NE , Debbie Myers of Lincoln, NE, step daughters he helped raise,  Shirley Latas Espe, Joyce Latas Beckman, grandchildren Carrie Colson, Travis Davis (Mariah), Randy Davis,(girlfriend Harley), Jesse Davis (Karen), Matt McCLintock (girlfriend Stephanie Whitlow), Kristy Gross (Dan) , Ember Myers (engaged to Eric Wilcox) Devan Myers, Schad Myers, Crystal Espe, David Espe, Mendell Rulla, Robert Latas, Amanda Petersen, Dezarae Lade, numerous great grandchildren,  sister Viola Espe of Kansas City, KS, brothers, Clarence McClintock of Pawnee City, NE and Leland McClintock of Lincoln, NE.,  several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends..

Services 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at Wherry Mortuary, 919 G Street, Pawnee City, Nebraska.  Officiating Reverend Tim Llewellyn.  Visitation on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m. at Wherry Mortuary, Pawnee City.  Masks and social distancing required at Service and graveside.  A live-streamed video broadcast will be available on the Wherry Mortuary/Monument Facebook for those unable to attend in person.  Interment at the Pawnee City Cemetery, Pawnee City, Nebraska.  Memorials to family choice.  On line condolence may be left at www.wherrymortuary.com
