Andrew Franklin “Andy” Winter, 43, of Effingham, formerly of Valley Falls, died Friday, December 18, 2020. 

Andy was born March 30, 1977 at Winchester, the son of Millard DeVere and Ruth Ellen Kirkham Winter. He was a 1995 graduate of Valley Falls High School and a graduate of Kaw Valley Area Vo-Tech School in Topeka. He was a master welder and fabricator, working many different jobs in Northeast Kansas.
 

Survivors include, a daughter, Delaney Winter and a son, Ty Winter, both of Corning, two brothers, DeVere (Rita Anderson) Winter, Carbondale, Pete (Debbie Adams) Winter, Valley Falls, six sisters, Ellen (Darrell) Hug, Mayetta, Brenda (Rex) Lloyd, Valley Falls, Angela Morrow, Valley Falls, Cheryl Winter, Topeka, Jana Winter, Valley Falls, Jill (Troy Frost) Penry, Valley Falls, 26 nieces and nephews and 30 great-nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Ruth Winter, Paternal grandparents, Harold and Vera Winter, maternal grandparents, Wilbur Kirkham, Delpha Kirkham and Dorothy Kirkham and a brother-in-law, Virgal Morrow.
  

A Grave Side Service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Bloomfield Cemetery in rural Meriden. Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Barnett Family Funeral Home in Oskaloosa.
