Ineva A. (Sausser) Lee, 83, of Sabetha, Kansas passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, MO. 

Ineva was born on June 22, 1937 in Seneca, KS the daughter of John and Leola (Swartzleonard) Sausser.  She attended school in Seneca and graduated from Seneca High School with the class of 1955.  After high school she worked for AT&T in Fairview for several years. She then served as church secretary for many years for the First Congregational Church of Sabetha, which would later become NorthRidge Church.

Ineva was united in marriage to Carrol Lee on May 3, 1959 at the First Congregational Church in Seneca.  To this union three children were added, Brad, Brenda, and Bryce. 

Ineva loved traveling with Carrol to visit family, and special road trips with friend, Marth. She enjoyed gardening, baking, playing cards and board games, camping, and watching the Kansas City Royals. Above all, Ineva had a deep faith in Jesus Christ and desired to share that with others.

Ineva was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her husband, Carrol of the home; her three children, Brad (Melody) Lee of Harlan, Iowa, Brenda (Bill) Corley of Sheridan, Arkansas, and Bryce (Alicia) Lee of Simla, Colorado; her three siblings, John (Lynell) Sausser, Jr. of Fairfield, Texas, Orletha Dalsing of Kansas City, MO, and Lorene Miller of Leawood, Kansas; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; her close friend, Marth Robinson Keely and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

For viewing and to sign the book, Ineva will not be in state at the funeral home prior to visitation and service time.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the NorthRidge Church in Sabetha.  The family will safely greet friends from 9:30 a.m. Saturday morning until service time at the church.  Interment will be in the Seneca Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be left to the NorthRidge Church, sent in care of Popkess Mortuary, 823 Virginia, Sabetha, KS 66534.
