MAYETTA – Danna Jean Crawshaw, 71, of Mayetta, KS, passed away Saturday, August 21, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 29, 1950 in Russell, KS, the daughter of Daniel D. and Anna (Ohlrogge) Heinze.

            Danna graduated from Topeka High School in 1968. After high school, Danna attended Clarks Business College and graduated in 1969. She started working in 1969 for Atchison-Topeka Sante Fe Railroad, retiring in 2009 as a programmer, after 40 years of service.

            On April 12, 1974, Danna was united in marriage to Lester Ray Crawshaw in Topeka, KS. They shared over 47 years of marriage. To this union they shared two children, Casey and Nate.

            Danna was a member of the Mayetta Christian Church. She enjoyed her Diva’s group where some of her classmates would get together for lunch. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

            Survivors include her husband Les of the home; 1 daughter, Casey Matthews (Bryce) of Mayetta, KS and 1 son, Nate Crawshaw (Sarah) of Mayetta, KS; 2 sisters, Carolyn Herbel of Oklahoma and Donna Brinker of West Virginia; 4 grandchildren, Anna, Emma, Rhett, Andie; and 1 grandchild on the way.

            She was preceded in death by her parents.

            Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton, KS. The family will greet friends from 5 -7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2021 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton.
