Margaret Ann (Sinclair) Massey Whitney Wiley, 83, of Horton Kansas entered into her Savior's presence on October 9, 2021, at the hospital in Hiawatha.  She was surrounded by family, praying and singing prior to her passing. 

She was born on April 6, 1938 at Oelwein, Iowa, one of five children to Lester and Helen (Brant) Sinclair.  She graduated in 1956 from Morrill High School and has lived in Horton since 1958.

Margaret became a follower of Jesus Christ February 13, 1948 and was baptized Palm Sunday of 1948.  Margaret was a cook for many years at the Horton School District.  She also worked as a receptionist and CNA at Tri County Manor in Horton.  She was greatly involved in the Horton First Baptist Church.  She taught Sunday School, choir, and worked in the Awana Program and was on many church committees.  She was a seamstress, sewing love with every stitch.  Her biggest joys were her love for Christ and her family.  She was a witness to Jesus' saving grace.  

Margaret married Melvin C. Massey on October 12, 1958.  Two children were born of this union, Melvin L. (Mary Ann) of Denton, KS and Lisa (Rick) Boeschling of Waterville, KS.  Melvin C. passed December 5, 1990.

She married Ralph F. Whitney, Sr, March 12, 1994.  Ralph passed September 18, 2003.  She married Phil Wiley, February 13, 2015.  He survives of the home.  She was blessed with having married three wonderful Christian men.  

She is survived by her children, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two extended families, the Whitney's and the Wiley's and. one sister, Priscilla Hill.  She also "adopted" many others into her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Roger Sinclair, and two sisters, Aleta Harris and Anita Evans.

A Celebration of Margaret’s Eternal Life is planned for 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 15, at the First Baptist Church in Horton.  Pastor John Kress will officiate.  Interment will follow at Horton Cemetery.

Friends may call at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, Hiawatha after 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. Thursday.  The family will meet friends from 6 until 8 that evening at First Baptist Church, Horton.
