Micheal Ray “Aug-Wa-Tha” Hoskins, 51, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021 in Bonner Springs, Kansas.

He was born on June 19, 1970 in Holton, Kansas the son of Oscar and Shirley Walker Hoskins.  Micheal worked for the Hoyt Pallet Company. He was a member of the Sac-N-Fox Tribe of Oklahoma. If Mike wasn’t working he was spending time with his beloved grandchildren and his family.

Survivors include two daughters, Myka (Damien) Golden of Leavenworth, Kansas and Cheyenne “Kek” (Kahke)Simon of Mayetta, Kansas; two sons, Andrew (Shyan) Hoskins of Warrensburg, Missouri and Daniel “Patko”  (Precious Tiscareno) Mitchell of Mayetta, Kansas; two sisters, Brenda Rivera of Lawrence, Kansas and Kimberly Hoskins of Lawrence, Kansas; brother, Jimmy Hoskins of Kansas City, Kansas and ten grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Frank Hoskins, daughter, Micheala Hoskins and a granddaughter, Angel Moore.

Viewing and wake for people to say goodbye will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas with burial to follow at the Kennekuk Cemetery on the Kickapoo Reservation.
