2: Lancaster vacation bible school
The Lancaster Community vacation bible school will be held on Monday, June 11th thru Friday, June 15th from 1:00 to 3:30PM at Saint John’s Lutheran and United Methodist churches in Lancaster. The bible school is for children ages 3 thru 8th grade. For more info call 874-4061.
3: Atchison MS: KS Army National Guard Band
The Kansas Army National Guard 35th Infantry Division Band will be conducting a free "Home Front Concert" this evening at 7 at the Atchison Middle School. The performance will feature patriotic music, military marches, big band selections, and a special tribute to veterans and their families. The concert is presented by The Citizen Soldiers of the Kansas Army National Guard. For more information contact SFC Nathan Fabrizius at 913-782-4522.
4: Horton Senior Citizens
Birthday carry in lunch. Blood pressures taken at 11 am. Lunch at 11:30 am followed by a business meeting. Birthday cake provided. All seniors welcome.
5: Seneca Knight's of Columbus meeting
The Seneca Knight’s of Columbus member will hold their regular monthly meeting at the Seneca Knight’s of Columbus Hall located on 1st Street in Seneca beginning at 8:00PM. This month they will be electing officers and would like as many members as possible to attend.
6: Seneca Library reading program
The Seneca free library will hold a summer reading program event on Tuesday, June 12th at 10:30AM at the library located on Main and 6th Streets in Seneca. “Richard Holgren is Flying Debris” will be presented in the library community room. He is funny, zany, incredible and hilarious!
