2: Sacred Heart Commencement Exercises
The 2012 Senior Class of Sacred Heart High School announces the Commencement Exercises on Tuesday, May 15 at 7:30 PM at Sts Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Twelve Students will graduate. A reception will follow at O'Connor Hall.
3: JCC Athletic Banquet
Johnson County Central Athletic Banquet will be held Tuesday, May 15th starting at 6:30 PM. This year's mean will be potluck.
4: White Cloud reunion reservations
The White Cloud School reunion will be held on Saturday, May 26th at the American Legion Building in White Cloud. The cost for the meal is $10 per person, dinner will be served at 5:00PM. Mail reservations to Linda Maris at 614 Main Street in White Cloud Kansas 66094 by Tuesday, May 15th.
 5: Atch.: KS Sen. Farmers' Market Program
The Kansas Senior Farmers' Market Program will provide low-income seniors with $30 of benefits for use during the 2012 harvest season to purchase fresh, nutritious, unprepared, locally grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, and honey at local farmers' markets between June 1st and October 15. Applications for the Kansas Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program are available at the Salvation Army at 926 Commercial St. in Atchison from now through May 31st. Hours are 9:30 a.m. through 2:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. To be eligible to receive Senior Farmers' Market Checks, seniors must be 60 years or older on the day of issuance and must have an annual gross income at or below $20,665.
