2: Brown County Historical beef program
The Brown County Historical Society in Hiawatha will host “150 years of Kansas Beef and Beefpacking Industry” a presentation and discussion by Donald D. Stull on Tuesday, June 19th at 7:00PM at the Frances Sewell Playmenn History Center at 701 Oregon Street. This is a free program.
3: HCCTC to Present Amer. Red Cross Program
Local nursing students from Highland Community College Technical Center will present the American Red Cross program, "Protecting Life, Promoting Health: Nurses/Student Nurses for Blood Donations", this evening beginning at 6 at the Atchison Public Library. The presentation is free and will provide information on the blood donation process.
4: Seneca Free Library reading event
The Seneca Free Library will hold a summer reading program special event on Tuesday, June 19th with “spinmaster” Brent Dellinger. The time of that program has been changed to 1:30PM. And, the Tuesday night book club will begin at 7:00PM at the Library located on Main Street in Seneca.
5: Family Night at Horton Library
It's Family Night again at the Horton Public Library on Tuesday June 19 at 6:30 pm. Barron Stringfellow, our very own magician, will be at the library to perform a show for us as part of our Circus of Dreams Summer Reading Program. Refreshments will be served after the show!
6: Seneca VFW Auxiliary meeting
The Seneca VFW Auxiliary number 7458 will hold a meeting on Tuesday, June 19th at 7:00PM in the Seneca Free Library meeting room. The Seneca Free Library is located at Main and 6th Streets. That’s the Seneca VFW Auxiliary meeting on Tuesday, June 19th at 7:00PM.
