1: May Basket Auction
May Basket Auction at Table Rock Senior Center. Please bring a May Basket to the center to be auctioned off. Proceeds will go to the Senior Center Fund.
2: Everest Community Blood Drive
Wednesday May 2nd from 2 to 6 pm at Everest Middle School. Sponsored by the 8th Grade Holocaust Project. Call Beth Jensen, Mitchell McClain, or Brandon Dexter at 548-7536 for information or to make an appointment.
3: Horton Library LEGO club
The Horton Library would like to start a LEGO club as part of their Summer Reading program. The Library is looking for individuals who may have LEGO sets and would consider donating them to the Library. If enough LEGO’s are collected the club will be formed. For info call 486-3326.
4: Atchison: St. Joseph's Spring Sale
The St. Joseph's Church Spring Sale is going on this week, through May 4th, in the St. Joseph's Church Basement at 8th and Spring Garden in Atchison. Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Furniture, appliances, stereo & audio, clothing, and miscellaneous items can be found on the sale.
5: Horton Community Choir
Rehearsal for the Baccalaureate Community Choir will be held at 7:30 p.m. in the music room of Horton High School on Wednesday evenings, May 2 and May 9. Everyone is invited to participate.
