1: Pawnee City Blood Mobile
The Pawnee City Bloodmobile will be at the Pawnee City United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall on Thursday, June 21st For more information or to make an appointment call county coordinator Deb Geis at 402-852-6094 The need is constant and every donation helps save a life! Walk-ins are always accepted. Need O Types and Negatives.
2: Horton pie baking class
The Glacial Hills Food Center in Horton will hold cherry pie baking classes twice in June on Thursday, June 21st and Thursday, June 28th. Both classes begin at 6:30PM with Becki Rhoades showing how to create a lovely lattice top crust. Make your reservations now by calling 945-6875.
3: Bern Library summer program
The Bern Community Library will hold summer reading programs on Thursday, June 21st they will have a hands on project with the children making their own dreamcatchers. And on Saturday, June 30th at 3:00PM they will have “Water Works” with the Bern Fire Department.
4: Brown County Genealogical Society
The Brown County Genealogical Society will have a free program on Thursday, June 21st at their building across the street west from the Brown County Court House Square in Hiawatha. Anna Wilhelm from Jackson County Historical Society will speak on famous people from Jackson County.
5: Hiawatha Library
Storytime on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. at the Morrill Public Library in Hiawatha. Stories, crafts, and more for kids age 3 and up. Parents and caregivers welcome.
6: Hiawatha Library
It’s Elementary – Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. at the Morrill Public Library in Hiawatha. Stories, crafts, and fun for kids grades K-4.
