1: Falls City Summer Food Service Program
Summer Food Service Program Volunteers Needed! What a wonderful way to help out! Ages 7th grade and up! 1-3 hours a day! 1-2 days a week! June 1-July 31st. Cook, serve food, supervise the kids! The state of NE requires you attend one Volunteer Training Sessions. Dates are May 17th and 24th at 7 PM. Sponsored by the Falls City Ministerial Association and NE Dept of ED.  2: Doniphan County Commodities
TEFAP Commodities, for Doniphan County residents, will be distributed on Thursday, May 24, 2012, from 8:30am – 1:30pm. Locations are Pioneer Center, 137 ½ W. Walnut in Troy; Leisure Hour Center, 410 N. 9th Street in Elwood; Keen-Age Center,, 302 N. 4th in Wathena; or Highland Center, 102 N. Kirkwood in Highland. 4: Seneca Area Community Theatre auditions
The Seneca Area Community Theatre will perform “The Odd Couple” during the Nemaha County Fair weekend of July 27th to the 29th. Anyone wishing to participate can audition on Thursday, May 24th or Friday, May 25th at 7:00PM in the Nemaha Valley High School Commons.
