1: Saint Mary's in Saint Benedict picnic
Saint Mary’s church in Saint Benedict will hold their annual picnic on Sunday, June 24th starting at 5:00PM. A chicken and ham supper will be served buffet style in the air conditioned hall Adults are $8.00, Children ages 5 to 11 are $4.00 and children 4 and under are free. The auction is at 9:00.
2: Ice Cream Social Falls City
Ice Cream Social at St. Paul's Lutheran Church 6 miles North of Falls City. Serving from 5 PM to 7:30 PM. Homeade Ice Cream and Desserts. Free Will offering to the Orphan Grain Train.
3: Centralia BBQ benefit
A Centralia Community Bar-B-Q benefit for Paul Streeter will be held on Sunday, June 24th from 5:00 to 7:00PM at the Centralia Hidden Park. The Bar-B-Q will be served for a free will offering. Proceeds will go to the medical expenses of Paul Streeter.
4: Atch: First Chr. Service at Riverfront
The public is invited to The First Christian Church People of Praise Service at the riverfront at 9 a.m. In case of rain the service will be held at the church. Folding chairs will be available, and communion will be served.
5: Bendena Ice Cream Social
An Ice Cream Social will be held at Saint John’s Lutheran Church in Bendena on Sunday, June 24th at 6:00PM. There will be ice Cream, cake, and drinks for a free will donation. That’s an Ice Cream Social at Saint John’s Lutheran church in Bendina on Sunday, June 24th at 6:00PM.
6: Hiawatha and Falls City radio excercise
An Emergency communications exercise will be held by the combined Hiawatha and Falls City Amateur Radio Clubs on Saturday, June 23rd and Sunday, June 24th at the west end of the Hiawatha Wal-Mart parking lot. They will join with about 40,000 amateur radio operators across the county.
7: Ice Cream Social - Pawnee City

8: Swim Party - Falls City
Falls City Recreation/Falls City Rotary Club swim party/hot dog feed set for this Sunday, June 24th 8 to 10 PM. Open to all Falls City Recreation and Travelers Baseball/Softball players ages 7 and above
9: Bendena: Ice Cream Social
St. John's Lutheran Church, Bendena, will host an ice cream social at 6 this evening, with ice cream, cake and drinks available for a free-will offering.
