1: Hiawatha Museum Exhibit
A special farm life exhibit is now at the Ag Museum in Hiawatha. The exhibit is located in the Carwell Building and is open Monday thru Friday from 10:00AM to 4:00PM, on Saturday’s from 10:00AM till 2:00PM. The exhibit is free to the public and will be on display until May 27th
2: Morrill High School Alumni Banquet
The Morrill High School Alumni Banquet will take place at the Morrill Community Building in Morrill KS. Registration is 4 to 5:30 PM. Dinner is at 5:30 PM. Meal and dues are $12.00. Make reservations by May 25th. Contact John Lehman at 785-284-3951 or Rudy Lehman at 785-284-2376
3: Onaga Lions Tractor and Truck pull
The 3rd Annual Onaga Lions Club tractor and truck pull will be held on Sunday, May 27th at 4:00PM in Onaga. Red Rock sled, gate admission is $10 adults, $5 from ages 6 to 12 and kids 5 and under get in free. Concessions on the grounds. For info call Clem at 799-5812.
4: Powhattan Pancake Feed
The annual Powhattan Fire department will be held on Sunday, May 27th from 7:00AM to 1:00PM. The feed will be held at the Powhattan Fire Barn for a free will donation. This is a good opportunity to bring your kids to meet the firemen and see the fire trucks up close. For info call 741-0923.
5: Sterling High Alumni Banquet
The Sterling High Aulmni Banquet will be held on May 27th with social time at 5 PM and banquet at 5:30 PM and the Sterling High school Gymnasium.
6: Memorial Day Event - Watson, MO
The High Creek Cemetery Association announces its traditional Commemorative Reception at the High Creek Church from 10 am to 4 pm. All visitors welcome.
