Maintenance Technician

DESCRIPTION OF WORK: 

Responsible for general maintenance and repair of all electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry pertaining to the gaming facility. Assist in departmental needs as directed by supervisor. 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Perform preventive maintenance on engineering systems, as well as repair or replace any damaged parts. 

2. Perform preventive maintenance on all air conditioning and heating units, replace filters and clean coils. 

3. Ensure all plumbing in maintained in good working order (rest rooms, kitchen, water lines, etc.) 

4. Ability to repair, replace, as well as construct any carpentry items as needed. 

5. Maintain and repair carpet area in casino. 

6. Follows all sac and fox casino policy and procedures. 

7. Ability to paint assigned areas as directed by supervisor. 

8. Complete other duties as directed by supervisor or above. 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

EDUCATION: 

??High School Diploma / G.E.D 

EXPERIENCE: 

??Two years maintenance experience in one or more trades 

KNOWLEDGE/ABILITY/SKILLS: 

??Ability to lift 60 pounds. 

??Ability to work in extreme heat and cold outdoor environments. 

??Ability to complete Department Maintenance Training (Job Specific) 

NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: 

??Must be 18 at time of hire. 

??All employees must successfully pass a background investigation to be employed by the Casino. 

??Responsible for Compliance with the Casino’s Internal Control Policy & Procedure as it relates to the position’s stated job description.
