A 21 year old Valley Falls man is dead following a car-semi accident Tuesday night in Shawnee County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 10:12 p.m. on Kansas highway four a half mile north of Seward Avenue.
The accident occurred when a 1995 Saturn driven by Chester Skinner of Valley Falls was southbound on K-4 and drifted into the northbound lane, striking a 2004 Peterbilt driven by 51 year old Allen Caselman of Wheeling, Missouri head-on.
Skinner was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the semi, 31 year old Cassandra Caselman, was taken to Stormont Vail in Topeka with possible injuries.
Allen Caselman was not injured.
The patrol says all three individuals were wearing seatbelts.
