A Beattie man was killed Saturday night in a motorcycle accident on U.S. 77 east of Blue Rapids.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 48-year-old Robert Studer was traveling east when his 1999 Harley Davidson motorcycle left the highway. Studer lost control of the motorcycle, which struck a guardrail.
The accident was reported shortly before 8 o’clock Saturday night.
The Patrol says Studer was not wearing a helmet.
Services for Studer will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o’clock at St. Malachy’s Catholic Church in Beattie.
