Richardson County Commissioners will meet at 9 a-m Tuesday at the Courthouse in Falls City. During the meeting Board members are expected to take action to officially accept the resignation of County Assessor Regina Cummings and authorize advertisement for resumes to fill the vacancy of County Assessor.
At 9:15 the Board will hear the annual report from the Southeast Nebraska Action Council and be asked to take action, recognizing May as Community Action Month.
Board members will hear updates on road and bridge projects and will view a webinar demonstration on vehicle tracking equipment.
At 11 a-m Commissioners will open sealed bids for mowing the courthouse and armory properties. Sheriff Randy Houser will meet with Commissioners at 11:30 a-m to further discuss replacement of a patrol vehicle and a contract with Southeast Nebraska Communications for dispatching phone service.
Commissioners are also expected to finalize the union contract with the Road and Bridge Department employees with effective dates of October 1, 2011 through September 30th, 2013.
