Former Elwood Police Officer Facing Sex Charges
A former Elwood, Kansas police officer is facing sex charges.
KQTV reports Brian Vincent has been charged in Doniphan County District Court with two felony counts of sexual exploitation of a child. He is also charged with two misdemeanor counts of using a concealed camcorder to eavesdrop.
Vincent was charged following an investigation by the Kansas Bureau of Investigation.
He was fired by the Elwood Police Department in June of last year after more than 10 years with the department. He also worked part-time for the Wathena Police Department at the time.
Vincent is being held in the Atchison County jail pending his first appearance in Doniphan County Court.
Nemaha County Attorney Brad Lippert was previously assigned as special prosecutor in the case.
