04/05/2012

The general signup period for the USDA’s Conservation Reserve Program ( CRP) has been extended for one week.  The new signup deadline is Friday, April 23rd.
CRP is a voluntary program available to agriculture producers to help them use environmentally sensitive land for conservation benefits.  In the 25 years of the CRP program in Nebraska, over a million acres of land has been enrolled in the USDA conservation program.
