The Brown County Sheriff’s office will take part in the National Take-Back prescription drug collection initiative Saturday.
Residents can bring their unwanted, unused or expired medications to the sheriff’s office in Hiawatha from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday for drop off.
Unwanted medications can be dropped off at anytime, but the sheriff’s office will also be participating in the National Take-Back initiative.
They will not accept needles, syringes, liquid or illegal drugs.
Those with questions can contact the Brown County Sheriff’s office.
