A single-vehicle accident Wednesday morning in Douglas County claimed the life of a Perry man.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 34-year-old Patrick Henderson died after rolling his pickup truck on Highway 40 just east of Big Springs.
The Patrol says for an unknown reason the right side tires went off the roadway.
The truck struck a KDOT sign, went into a ditch, and overturned several times before striking a tree row and fence.
The Patrol says Henderson was wearing a seat belt.
The accident was reported shortly after 8:30 Wednesday morning.
