An Atchison teen has pleaded guilty to charges stemming from a series of burglaries over several months.
18-year-old Jonathan Lewis pleaded guilty today ( Friday ) in Atchison County District Court to three counts of burglary and two counts of felony theft.
Several other charges were dismissed in a plea agreement.
Lewis was arrested by Atchison Police on March 8th for a burglary that same day at a residence on 10th street in Atchison where he took a television, PS3 and rare coins worth over a thousand dollars.
While in jail, he was also charged with the burglary of a concession stand near Lancaster on October 21, 2011 as well as a burglary of a residence on 258th Road on January 17th where he took over 25 thousand dollars worth of items, including guns, ammo and rare coins.
Another person alleged to be a co-defendant in the case on 258th Road, Jacob Clem, will make his next appearance on May 2nd.
Lewis remains in jail and sentencing is scheduled for June 4th
