It was a very successful day on the golf course for the Nemaha Valley Raiders as they took home first place in the four-man team category, second in the six-man team category and two top ten individual performances, including first place at the Marysville Invitational. Marysville Invitational featured six schools and 44 total golfers.
Trent Olberding for Nemaha Valley finished with the best round of the day shooting a 79, winning the Marysville Invitational individual first place crown. His teammate Zach Bradley finished in the top 10 with Olberding after shooting a 85 earning him a sixth place finish.
The Raiders utilized those two performances along with Michael Ohlsen's 87 and Caleb Meyer's 90 to win the four-man team crown shooting a combined 341, only one stroke ahead of Abilene and Concordia who's teams finished with cumulative score of 342. Nemaha Valley's six-man team notched second place with a cumulative score of 531, only three strokes off of first place, which was won by Concordia who had a team, scored 528.
