A neighborhood watch tip to police leads authorities to the arrest of two Oskaloosa individuals Thursday morning that were believed to be burglarizing a home in the 1400 block of North 15th Street in Atchison.
Atchison Police Chief Mike Wilson explains the events that led to the arrests of 19-year-old Ellen Keo.

Wilson says as the investigation continued, officers were able to locate 21-year-old Brian Rich.

He says all property has been recovered from the alleged burglary.
Keo made her first appearance Friday in Atchison County District Court and bond was set at 10 thousand dollars.
Rich also made his first appearance and bond in his case was set at 20 thousand dollars after authorities learned he had a hold request from the Kansas Department of Corrections.
They both remain in Atchison County jail as of Friday morning awaiting formal charges.
They were booked by police on the charges of burglary, theft, obstructing legal process, criminal damage to property and possession of stolen property.
The investigation continues as police try to attempt to apprehend the third suspect.
