(KLZA) The Falls City, City Council meets at 7 p-m Monday evening at City Hall.
Agenda items include discussion on a request to hire the Halbert, Dunn & Halbert Law firm for all legal services for the CGB Enterprises Inc. project.
First Ward Councilman Hal Sutter will ask the Council to authorize having the City Attorney create an ordinance to amend a city code. Randy Raney, owner of the Bottle Shop Liquor Store will ask the Council to allow alcohol to be sold beginning at 9 a-m on Sunday’s.
Council members will discuss the annual request for dues to the Southeast Nebraska Development District for 2013 amounting to $2,125 and dues for the SENDD housing program totaling $1,298.
A public hearing for a catering license at 2724 Harlan for Rick Lemerond will be held. Discussion on requests for special designated liquor licenses for a wedding reception August 11th by American Legion Post 102 and by the Legion Post for a social event at Dream Weaver Hotel on August 13th will be held with Larry Whalen.
The final agenda item is discussion on a recommendation from the Board of Public Works to go out for bids for a digger-derrick truck.
