Delaware River WRAPS (Watershed Restoration and Protection Strategy) is holding a BMP (Best Management Practice) Auction. The Auction, which opened September 1 and closes on October 15, gives landowners and agricultural operators a chance to be awarded funds to implement conservation BMPs that protect soil and water resources on their property and improve their farming operation.
Landowners and ag operators can stop by one of two Open Houses to pick up bid sheets, get help with developing and submitting auction bids, or to obtain more information about the BMP Auction. The first Open House will be held from 9 to 11 o’clock am in the USDA building located at 409 North Street, Seneca, KS. The second Open House will be held from 1 to 3 o’clock pm in the USDA building located at 605 6th Street in Effingham, KS.
