(KAIR) -- Discussions are set to begin on the feasibility of privatizing the Atchison County transfer station.
County Commissioners are looking to meet with the Solid Waste Advisory Committee at their July meeting.
That word from County Commissioner Mike Bodenhausen.

Bodenhausen says if the transfer station is privatized, it would have an effect on subsidizing solid waste and setting the tipping fee from the proposal currently on the table recommended by the Solid Waste Committee last Thursday at the countywide summit.
