(KTNC) - A teacher at the Axtell, Kansas High School is the newest member of the Pawnee City, Nebraska School Board.
Brian Rottinghaus was appointed to fill the vacancy created when Josh Glynn resigned from the Board last month.
Rottinghaus lives in Pawnee City with his wife Carmen, who is a physical therapist at the Pawnee County Hospital, and their two children.
Rottinghaus was one of three people to express an interest in filling the vacancy. Josh Glynn resigned from the board because he moved out of the district.
The school board appointed Rottinghaus during Monday’s regular board meeting.
