Westar Energy offers free Home Energy Savings Workshop

Westar Energy will host a free Home Energy Savings workshop on Wednesday, Oct. 9 from

6 p.m. to 9p.m. at the Marysville Community Building located at 209 North Eighth Street, Marysville

This informative workshop will provide you with tools to help assess the energy efficiency

of your home.In addition, you will have the opportunity to learn cost-effective steps that will helpimprove comfort and conserve energy. The three-hour workshop will cover:

•Heating and cooling equipment

•Air sealing (insulation, windows and doors)

•Water heating

•Lighting

•Appliances
