(KTNC)--A northwest Missouri woman was killed Wednesday afternoon when her car collided with a delivery truck. The crash occurred at 1:30 p.m. in a construction zone on U.S. Highway 136, six miles west of Albany in Gentry County.
The Missouri State Patrol says 89-year-old Iva Zlatos of Albany was driving eastbound, when a westbound delivery truck crossed into the eastbound lane and collided head-on with Zlatos' 1991 Pontiac Grand Prix.
Zlatos was transported by ambulance to the Northwest Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead by Gentry County Coroner Andy Lindener.
The delivery truck driver, Russell Guyer of Oregon, Missouri, was not injured.
