(KLZA)-- Falls City Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Director David Branch has informed MSCNEWS there will not be a beer garden during the Cobblstone Festival this weekend in Falls City.
The Nebraska Liquor Commission denied the permit request due to paperwork arriving at their office a day late.
The request was given favorable comment by the City Council in July but the original vendor had already been allowed the limit of special designated licenses for the year. Another vendor was given favorable comment during the August 4th Council meeting but the Liquor Commission denied the request.
All other events go on as scheduled, but the beer garden has been cancelled.
