(KNZA)--An Everest man has been sentenced to more than two years in prison on charges in three separate cases.
20-year-old Leonard Cashman was sentenced Monday in Brown County District Court to 25 months in prison on a charge of criminal discharge of a firearm.
In a separate case, Cashman was sentenced to 12 months in jail on a charge of possession of marijuana. In addition, his probation was revoked in a 2012 case and he was sentenced to 16 months in prison on a charge of burglary.
The sentences were ordered to be served concurrently, and Cashman was given credit for time served.
He pleaded guilty in March to the weapon and drug charges. In exchange for the plea, several other charges were dismissed.
Cashman was convicted of firing a gun in May of 2013 at an occupied dwelling in the 600 block of Chestnut in Everest. No one was hurt.
The drug charge stems from a traffic stop in July of last year.
