(KNZA)--A noon hour single vehicle rollover wreck Monday sends a Horton woman to the hospital.
Interim Brown County Undersheriff Randy Linck says it happened when 22-year-old Ariel Cowley was eastbound on 190th Road, but lost control when the pavement turned to gravel on the roadway.
That caused her vehicle to run into the ditch on the north side of the roadway where it rolled over several times, coming to rest in a cornfield.
Cowley was transported from the scene by Horton Ambulance and taken to the Horton Community Hospital for the treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Also providing assistance at the scene were the Horton Fire Department and the Brown County Rescue Squad.
The wreck was reported shortly after 12:00.
