(KAIR)--Motorists should expect delays as a crack seal repair project begins Tuesday on a 16-mile stretch of K-192, from the U.S. Highway 73 junction in Leavenworth County to the U.S. Highway 59 junction in Jefferson County.
Work will take place on all lanes within the work zone during daylight hours on weekdays, with motorists to be guided by a pilot car.
Drivers should expect delays during peak commute times and should adjust travel times if possible.
The Illinois-based Huff Sealing Corporation is the primary contractor on the $80,000 crack seal repair project.
All work is expected to be complete by mid-October if weather allows.
