(KLZA)-- There are people in need every day. You never know what challenge life may throw your way. Knowing where to turn when you need help is not always easy.
The Falls City Area Ministerial Association is a place that can help you with a variety of answers. A HELP Line is available for anyone to call and there are a number of ways you can get help.
If you call the HELP Line at 402-245-6111 you will get an answering machine. You need to leave your name and phone number and a brief description of your need. A volunteer case worker will get in touch with you and find out more about your need.
There are various types of help a caller may receive, ranging from information, guidance and even some monetary help. The Ministerial Association does not hand out cash but is able to help with rent or gas money or a utility bill for instance. The case worker decides what is best to do. The appropriate vendor is contact and then the treasurer of the Association is billed.
The Ministerial Association considers itself the last resort for help. The case worker may be able to put you in contact with another group such as Southeast Nebraska Community Action or Health and Human Services for help as well.
The Ministerial Association, much like everyone else continues to need funds. If you are interested in making a contribution, you can make donations to the Falls City Ministerial Association, post office box 132, Falls City
