Brown County Courthouse
(KNZA)--The Horton Headlight remains the official newspaper of Brown County.
That follows the opening of bids Monday when the Brown County Commission met for their regular session.
Submitted were two bids, one from the Horton Headlight for $2.00 per column inch and another by the Hiawatha World for $3.00 per column inch.
Following a review of the two submissions, Commissioner Warren Ploeger made the motion to accept the offer made by the Horton Headlight, with the motion receiving a second from Commissioner Steve Roberts, followed by approval.
