(KAIR)--A Wednesday evening traffic stop lead to the arrest of an Atchison man on drug and traffic related charges.
According to Police Chief Mike Wilson, an officer on patrol stopped 25-year-old Tyler Chalfant just after 10:00 in the 800 block of M Street for failing to dim his headlights. Upon further investigation, the officer discovered what appeared to be methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in his possession.
Chalfant was booked into the Atchison County Jail on charges including possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while suspended, driving with an illegal tag, and other traffic related charges.
