(KNZA)--A Wetmore man convicted of exposing himself to two minor children in Hoyt last September has been placed on supervised probation for at least 12 months and will be required to register as a sex offender for 15 years.
Jackson County Attorney Shawna Miller says 24-year-old Jason Seematter was sentenced Friday on two felony counts of lewd and lascivious behavior.
Seematter pleaded no contest to the charges in December.
Authorities say Seematter exposed himself to two nine-year-old children on September 27th near a school in Hoyt. The children reported the incident to law enforcement.
Seematter was arrested on October 1st at his home in Wetmore following numerous tips from the public.
