(KNZA)--A single-vehicle weather-related wreck on U.S. Highway 59 in Jefferson County Saturday afternoon sent three Atchison residents to the hospital.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 38-year-old Brian Busenbarrick was northbound about five miles south of Oskaloosa when he lost control of his Monte Carlo on the snow-packed highway. His car entered the west ditch, struck a rock embankment, and overturned shortly after 1.
Brian Busenbarrick and two passengers, 40-year-old Heidi Busenbarrick and 16-year-old Paiden Busenbarrick, were all transported to the Atchison Hospital with unspecified injuries. Another passenger, 80-year-old Atchison resident Lenoa Busenbarrick, wasn’t hurt.
