(KNZA)--A Holton man facing charges in two separate cases has entered into a plea agreement.
In the first case, 33-year-old Bradley Stanley, Sr. pleaded guilty Friday in Jackson County District Court to a reduced charge of burglary stemming from the alleged sexual battery of a 16-year-old Hoyt girl last July.
In exchange for the plea, charges of aggravated sexual battery, vehicular burglary and theft were dismissed.
In the second case, Stanley pleaded guilty to a less severe charge of aggravated battery stemming from an alleged altercation with another inmate in the Jackson County Jail in August.
Sentencing in both cases is set for May 15th.
Stanley had originally pleaded “ not guilty” to charges in both cases last October and jury trials had been set.
