(KLZA)-- F&M Bank President Merle Veigel has announced that Sawyer Kean of Sacred Heart High School and Brandon Gibson of Falls City High School have been awarded the Gus P. Scholz Memorial Scholarships. Each is worth $500.
Sawyer is the son of Jon & Kellee Kean and Brandon is the son of Lori Owens.
The winners were selected on the basis of their academic achievements, involvement in school and community activities and the quality and content of their application.
Each year the ban awards the scholarship in the memory of the late Gus P. Scholz, to a senior at each Falls City High School.
