04/20/2015

(KNZA)--A local bridge repair project has been completed ahead of schedule.

That word from the Kansas Department of Transportation, regarding the replacement of a broken wing wall on the south side of the U.S. 36 bridge, near Fairview.

Monday morning's wrap-up of the work means that both eastbound and westbound traffic over the bridge has returned to normal.

The project, conducted by Reece Construction, began March 23rd.
