(KAIR)--An Atchison woman, accused of taking financial advantage of a family member, has entered a plea to an amended charge in the case.
42-year-old Nancy Thummel pleaded guilty Wednesday in Atchison County District Court to one count of felony conspiracy to commit theft. She was originally charged with one count of felony mistreatment of a dependent adult.
Sentencing has been set for June 8th.
Thummel, along with her 47-year-old husband Dennis Thummel, were arrested in March of last year after a police investigation alleged they had taken financial advantage of a 24-year-old live in family member.
