Hiawatha Man Waives Hearing in Child Sex Case
05/21/2015

(KNZA)--A Hiawatha man accused of sex offenses involving two children has waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

46-year-old Ross Bruce was bound over to Brown County District Court Wednesday on two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.   Arraignment was scheduled for July 6th ( 9 a.m.)

Brown County Attorney Kevin Hill says the alleged offenses, which involve a currently 6 and 11-year-old, span about a six year time period.

Bruce was arrested in April following an investigation by the Hiawatha Police Department.

He remains in the Brown County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
