Kansas Highway Patrol
(KNZA)--A Cummings man was injured Saturday morning in a single-vehicle wreck on U.S. 59 Highway in Atchison County about three miles northeast of Nortonville.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says 19-year-old Tyler Nolting was northbound when his Chevy Cavalier crossed the highway and entered the west ditch, striking a guardrail.
Nolting, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck, was transported by private vehicle to the Atchison Hospital with what were described as disabling injuries.
The wreck was reported shortly after 8:30.
